Gaerne GRS Motorcycle Boots

Posted by admin  Published in motorbike boots

Today I am going to tell you about the Gaerne GRS motorbike boots . Gaerne is one of the popular brand names all over the Unetde States. And many famous and successful sport bikers use this brand. For example Makoto Tamada in MotoGP, James Toseland and Ruben Xaus in WSBK, Jakob Smrz and Sylvain Guintoli in the 250cc World Championship class and also Mike LaRocco in AMA Motocross.

Gaern G-RS Boots

On other one hand these boots are simple on the other hand their designers tried to make them popular, they tried to mark them out of the many other pretty good motorcycle boots. In my opinion the most important feature of these boots that they a very comfortable. Of course these boot are not for walking around the city but they are one of the best ones among motorcycle boots.

Some bikers have complaints concerning putting on these Gaerne boots, I agree there is some kernel of truth but this is the price of your comfort and what is more important – safety. It is really true, you legs and foots are open to injury and all motorbikers should care about themselves.

The comfort of this boots in combination of create a quite good impression. These Gaerne motorcycle boots are really well-designed and good-looking and they are a godsend for sport bikers.

Motorbike boots – the thing to be worn.

Posted by admin  Published in motorbike boots

I’ve recently noticed, that the number of motorcycle riders, who abandon wearing special motorbike boots is increasing. Frankly speaking, this trend isn’t really good, because to my mind the footwear is just as important part of a protective apparel, as, for example, a helmet or a jacket. But not really all people understand that. At the same time people don’t realize the importance of wearing the protective apparel until they get into an accident or become witnesses of one.

You know, I remember my friend getting into a small accident, when he fell off the bike after an old woman crashed in him. Fortunately, the speed was small and he wasn’t injured, but the tough leather motorbike boots he had on him got pretty rubbed because his leg was under the motorcycle. His leg was quite OK, but if he was wearing just usual boots or even slippers instead of leather footwear, the situation could have been much worse. At this rate I also found a video, showing the importance of wearing the motorcycle boots for you guys. Take a look at this small comparison of the special protective street bike boots and usual footwear. Really, the difference is enormous.

At the same time it is necessary to admit that the tough protective motorcycle boots can be quite stylish and fashionable. Some women don’t like to wear them because they thing this piece of clothing gonna spoil their appearance. To my mind this is completely wrong opinion. Just take a look at this interesting boots presentation and find out, that the protective apparel can be an excellent addition to your look. So, now you are able to find motorbike boots, that will a nice combination of protection and style.

Should street bike boots be worn in summer?

Posted by admin  Published in motorbike boots

Street bike bootsThe problem of motorbike clothing in summer is really sharp, because it’s not very convenient to wear all protective equipment, when it is 30 C (86 F) outside. And wearing big and hot street bike boots can be rather inconvenient, painful and even harmful for your feet. At this rate some people abandon wearing all kinds of biker clothes.

This is the most radical way of solving the problem, but usually folks just wear usual clothes instead of protective ones. Frankly speaking, I can sometimes understand such people, because it looks quite stupid when on a hot summer day you meet a biker wearing leather boots or even just protective motorcycle boots. And if you look at his face you will get sure, that it doesn’t make him happy. Of course, the manufacturers are trying to make them as comfortable as possible, but nothing helps when the temperature outside rises very high.

I don’t think that a biker will feel good wearing such street bike boots in summer:

And such ones won’t go as well:

At the same time it can look quite good. I would even say excellent!

When I see a person wearing full set protective clothing on a hot day, I want to jump in a cold pool. Being a biker and riding a Triumph cruiser I don’t care about having all sport equipment on me everywhere. Actually I don’t wear it at all, having a set of biker clothing instead. But I know, how a person feels having on the full suit, helmet and street bike boots. The only things you pray for are cold wind, rain and a bottle of ice beer.
