Motorbike rider Sid AlersonHowdy everybody!
At the moment you are reading the blog of a biker with more than 20-year experience. My name is Sid Alerson. I was born in McClellanville, South Carolina. I have been riding a bike since 1990, when I bought my first motorcycle – Harley-Davidson 1200 Fat Bob made in 1979. That was a great thing! Of course, I worked on it a lot, because the 11-year old motorbike needed a much attention and great deal of work. But I was only 21 and couldn’t afford something better. I was very glad that I had an opportunity to ride such a great motorcycle – it was a real legend! I spent almost all my spare time for working on my bike and riding it. Then I got involved in biker movement and began to take part in different kinds of events, where I got acquainted with many interesting people from all over the country, who now are my friends.

Fat Bob served me for quite a long time – till 1998, when I successfully sold it and changed to HD Ultra Glide Classic. And I have been riding it for almost 7 years. This bike has also brought much joy to me. I managed to increase its power and upgrade it quite well. But after I got into a crash in 2004 I had to sell it. I wasn’t injured much, but the bike was damaged very hard. The crash wasn’t actually my fault. I was hit down by a car at a speed of about 50 mph when I was going to McColl. It was very sad for me to say good-bye to such a wonderful motorcycle, but I didn’t stop riding motorbike after a crash. So, in 2004 I decided to buy not used motorcycle, but a new one. I was mulling that over for a long time and finally came up to the decision to get a new Triumph Rocket III. And now, having been riding this bike for quite a long time I can surely say, that it was a great deal!

At the moment I’m living in my native town, where I’m happy with my wife and 4 children. Besides working in my little garage (repairing and upgrading motorcycles) I’m having a deal in an internet shop, selling different clothing and equipment for bikers. The shop is offering quality and brand things at quite a reasonable price, so you can find a good deal of protective motorcycle clothing you check it out. At the same time you can read different stuff on the topic written by me on Hubpages. I’m known as Motorbike Leathers there.

I hope you will enjoy reading my blog and find some necessary information for you. Thanks for reading all this stuff.
